Designated hitter Richie Zisk blasted 3 homeruns and had 6 RBI and Floyd
Bannister shut down the Milwaukee batters on just 3 hits as the Seattle
Mariners man-handled the Milwaukee Brewers - the final score was 10 to
0.

Zisk had a big evening at the plate. He blasted a two-run home run in the 1st
inning, ripped a solo home run in the 5th inning, bombed a two-run dinger in
the 7th inning and delivered a single scoring a run in the 8th inning. The
Seattle offense was great, scoring in 7 of the 9 innings.

Bannister(7-3) was credited with the shutout, his first of the year. The
losing pitcher was Mike Caldwell(7-3). He served up 4 homeruns in his 7 and
2/3 innings.

Rene Lachemann was very impressed with his pitcher, Bannister, 'He had
unusually good pitch placement tonight. It was almost unfair - but a
beautiful game to watch from where I sat'
